I dozed off in the grass while reading
The heat from the sun faded imperceptibly
Into a cool shaded breeze on my skin
And my mind detached itself from my agency
To play with the situations of my life
Like pieces in a board game,
A narrative independent of my license.
When I woke up
It was three minutes after my time to head back.
I had forgotten I was attached to things.
A part of me had flowed into a possible future
Without concern for the reality
To which I returned.
